Utah Theater Cancels 'Brokeback Mountain
SALT LAKE CITY - A movie theater owned by Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller abruptly changed its screening plans and decided not to show the film "Brokeback Mountain." The film, an R-rated Western gay romance story, was supposed to open Friday at the Megaplex at Jordan Commons in Sandy, a suburb of Salt Lake City. Just other way the mormons try to control people. Now they are deciding what a paying movie partons see or doesn't see. Nobody is forcing anyone to see this film. They don't like homosexaulity then they don't have to see it. The movies aren't run by the church. Open your eyes mormons and stop letting these pig headed horrible awful men control you. It just a movie. Just like the mormon church is a man made church controlled by a bunch of bigots.
This movie is playing at other places in Utah and they are having a big turn out. Larry Miller is the one losing out. I for one will boycott anything he is tied to. At the same time he would not run Brokeback Mountain. He was showig about 4 other R movies. Wake up Larry and Gale this is our City also. There are gays in Utah and I do not see them going away.
its called ignorance. Like some other religions mormons create a "BOX" of reality. And they all live in that box. And they tell their members that others will tell them that they are foolish, but to remain faithful because jesus was mocked too. LOL .. you get the idea. There is no point arguing with a lost soul mormon cuz they've been brainwashed into believing they are already on the bus to heaven. But the interesting part here is that those mormons are always the first to cast judgement on everyone else. Guess they are not christian after all. I personaly think this is bullshit, Larry is going way to far, it is his business and yes he can do what ever he wants, but this kind of censorship you see in Iran and China, I hope the gay community do Boycott him, and oh boy Salt Lake City has alot of gay people. I am not gay and I may go see the movie may not, but I hate to be told what i can watch and can't watch. Oh since this is my site I can also say what I want, so here is my response to Larry H Miller
